In light of recent events, Jovan Belcher killing his girlfriend and even more recent a man kills his wife while she was at work at the airport of all places and then kills himself, its important that we address this with the love of Christ. Illuminating Life would like to Welcome Russel Blake, Christina Armstrong as well as Pastor Mark Banks to help facilitate the Topic Christine Armstrong will be joining us from the Domestic Violence Crime Watch. Christine has been involved in domestic violence victims advocacy since 1999 and worked professionally as Development & Communications Director for my local domestic violence and rape crisis program for nearly seven years. http://www.dvcrimewatch.com/home/mission Russel Blake is a Domestic Violence Awareness Advocate involved with 3 organizations. He is on the Advisory Board of Lindas Voice who was featured on The Steve Harvey TV Show last week, Male Spokesperson for GWEN (Global Womens Empowerment Network) and Partner/Advisory Board Member of National Domestic Violence Registry. He is also the Author of "Proverbs 31:The Virtuous Black Woman Vol. 1" His book honors, uplifts, empowers and encourages all women. How can the Body of Christ make a difference?
