On this segment of "JBlair Presents," brothers Selton and Langston Shaw will discuss their film "Undercard," the story of a former boxing champ facing his last shot at the title. Undercard will appear at the upcoming Urban Suburban Film Festival in Philadelphia scheduled for June 28th-30th. Director Selton Shaw won his first award in 2006 when he became the winner of AXE Black Filmmaker's Series Competition for his directorial debut of The Let Out Guys. The film also won the Robert Townsends 2010 Ultimate Pitch Master Competition (sponsored by ABFF). Other films include The 30th President, How to Cheat on Your Girlfriend, Nine Minutes and Thirty Seconds, and Dream Cash. He is a graduate of Hampton University (2005) where he received a B.S. in Political Science. Actor Langston Shaw began his interest in drama at the tender age of six, landing the role in the play The Caucasian Chalk Circle. He served as executive producer for the brothers original documentary The 30th President, How to Cheat on Your Girlfriend, and Nine Minutes and Thirty Seconds. Langston is a graudate of Florida Agricutural and Mechanical Unversity (2006) where he received his B.A. in Business Administration. Both brothers join us for an open discussion of "Undercard" on Sat June 22, 2013 at 2pm EST.
